LAS MkI / 150 Upgrade
To improve existing LAS instruments (LAS150) for customers, there is an upgrade service available which converts the LAS150 (produced in 2002 and 2003) or the LAS MkI (2004-2011) to have all the functionality of a LAS MkII. It gets all the benefits of the new version (digital electronics with an internal microprocessor and flash storage, integral display and keypad, plus new internal optics with increased range), whilst retaining the original housing and mounting.
The upgrade includes a GPS receiver for accurate time synchronisation and also includes calibration against the Kipp & Zonen reference instrument.
